Dr. Blood exists so that people who need blood can reach blood banks through a clear, technology-supported path — instead of relying only on informal networks, late-night calls, and uncertainty.
Why it was started
When a request is urgent, time is lost in coordination. Families search, hospitals call, and blood banks receive fragmented information. Dr. Blood was started to reduce that friction and keep the request visible from the first step to a response.
The problem
Blood is available in the system, but access is often uneven. Need and supply are not always in the same place at the same time, and people in the middle have little visibility. Dr. Blood addresses that coordination gap — without exposing the internal complexity of how banks and hospitals operate.
