The story
Dr. Blood exists so that people who need blood can reach blood banks through a clear, technology-supported path — instead of relying only on informal networks, late-night calls, and uncertainty.
Why it was started
When a request is urgent, time is lost in coordination. Families search, hospitals call, and blood banks receive fragmented information. Dr. Blood was started to reduce that friction and keep the request visible from the first step to a response.
The problem
Blood is available in the system, but access is often uneven. Need and supply are not always in the same place at the same time, and people in the middle have little visibility. Dr. Blood addresses that coordination gap — without exposing the internal complexity of how banks and hospitals operate.

Dr. Amarnadh Polisetty
Clinical Haematologist & Haemato-Oncologist
Dr. Amarnadh Polisetty is a Clinical Haematologist and Haemato-Oncologist and the Founder & CEO of Dr. Blood, a healthcare initiative focused on making blood support more accessible, responsive, and easier to coordinate for patients and their families.
His medical career is closely connected with the diagnosis and management of blood disorders, haematological conditions, blood cancers, bone marrow disorders, and patients requiring specialised transfusion-related support. His commitment to advancing haematology is also reflected in an Abstract Award from the American Society of Hematology (ASH).
Through clinical practice he has seen how patients facing serious blood-related conditions often struggle beyond treatment itself — including the difficulty of coordinating timely blood support when it is urgently required. Dr. Blood was created so that patients and families should not have to spend critical time searching through disconnected contacts when they need blood.
As Founder & CEO, he provides the medical direction behind the initiative and works with the technology team to turn real-world healthcare challenges into practical digital workflows. The aim is not to replace hospitals or licensed blood banks, but to make requesting, coordinating, and responding to blood requirements more organised and accessible.

Founder & CEO, LatentIQ AI Technologies and Spotwebs
Paruchuri Pranith Nishanth is a technology entrepreneur, software systems builder, and the Co-Founder & CTO of Dr. Blood. He is also the Founder & CEO of LatentIQ AI Technologies Pvt. Ltd. and Spotwebs, where he works on software systems, AI-enabled applications, data-driven products, and digital infrastructure.
The problem Dr. Blood addresses is not only medical — it is a coordination and information problem. When a patient urgently needs blood, information is often spread across phone calls, WhatsApp groups, personal contacts, hospitals, donors, and local communities. His role is to look at that fragmented process from a systems perspective and make it simpler, more structured, and easier to coordinate.
At Dr. Blood he is responsible for the technology and digital systems direction of the initiative. While Dr. Amarnadh provides the medical and healthcare perspective, Pranith translates those requirements into practical software and digital workflows — a complementary founding model of medical expertise, technology expertise, and community participation.
His broader work at LatentIQ AI Technologies focuses on AI intelligence, software engineering, data systems, automation, and intelligent applications. That same systems-thinking approach shapes Dr. Blood: identify the coordination gap, understand the people involved, and build technology that makes the process easier.
